This weekend Moutainfilm on Tour will make a stop at the Southampton Arts Center.  Mountainfilm Festival’s mission is to harness the power of film, art and ideas to inspire audiences to create a better world. The Tour will bring a selection of culturally significant, action packed documentary films curated from the Mountainfilm Festival held every Memorial Day Weekend in Telluride, Colorado.

Mountainfilm festival began in 1979, and is one of America’s longest running film festivals.  In addition to providing a platform for independent documentary filmmakers from around the world, the festival brings together everyone from artists and activists, to academics and adventurers, hoping to create a dialogue and a path to change.
